Goldengrove: Studio Eleven Fall 2008 Show
The landscapes of Virginia, Ireland and France are influential in my thinking about color and space, as are the myriad odd spaces and rooms in my century old house on Richmond’s Northside. These works were on exhibit from November 7 through December 2, 2008, at Studio Eleven in Lexington, Virginia (www.studioelevenlexva.com). In this exhibition, the paintings draw mainly from time spent at Nimrod Hall in Bath County, although Ireland, France and the family homestead in Falls Church are also present.
